Approve Mobile™ supports the Omni 3000/6000 and Spirit FlowX. Support for the FlowMD PDAQ is coming shortly.
Approve Mobile™ extends Approve™ to manage and control the portable proving process. Meter data is downloaded from Approve™ and prove results are then uploaded back to Approve™, maintaining a centralised set of prove results for each meter regardless of the portable prover used.
All proves performed by Approve Mobile™ are stored in the database and can be uploaded to Approve™ on the enterprise server when the prover operator next gets a connection to the network.
The flow computer generated prove report is automatically collected and attached to the prove results, providing full traceability all the way back to the originally generated prove data.
Each operator has a unique Approve Mobile™ account so the proves that they have performed can be tracked. The proving truck is also stored alongside each prove. This allows Approve™ to monitor faulty prover trucks or operators who are not following best practice.
Approve Mobile doesn’t just collect the good proves – accepted proves, rejected proves and even aborted proves are all recorded in the prove history. Proves with rejected meter factors and aborted proves can provide interesting information about the status of the meter. For example, too many rejected/aborted proves could indicate a problem with the meter.
Approve Mobile™ can initiate a prove in the flow computer using the meter details and provides real-time updates of the prove’s progress with the latest status and run statuses. Once the prove has completed, it will collect all the associated prove data from the prover flow computer.
Every meter defined on the Approve™ server can be downloaded into Approve Mobile™. This includes the meter details, products, base curve, meter inputs and prove settings for each meter. The meter details are automatically uploaded into the prover flow computer for each prove, ensuring the latest data is always used.
