display-acquireAcquire™ brings together everything operators need to monitor and control a modern metering system in a single, purpose-built HMI. Fully integrated with Profile™, it gives users a clear, real-time view of operations and direct access to controls and the information that they need.

At the heart of Acquire is a dynamic P&ID that gives operators an immediate view of the entire metering process. Live data from flow computers and PLCs brings the system to life, showing measurement values, equipment status, valve positions, alarms and flow through active meter runs. Authorised operators can interact directly with equipment to control the process, initiate meter proves, manage flow computer set points and respond to alarms.

Acquire can be tailored to suit virtually any metering installation. Flexible configuration tools and an extensive library of metering graphics make it easy to build P&IDs that reflect the actual metering system, from a single flow computer to complex setups spanning multiple stations, devices and networks.

Built-in server, network and flow computer redundancy helps maintain continuous access to critical measurement information and operational controls. Acquire™ automatically tracks Duty/Standby status to ensure Duty flow computer data is always used for custody measurement while retaining data from both devices as part of the complete measurement record.

With Acquire™ running within Profile™, real-time operations become part of a complete measurement environment, bringing together live and historical data, batches, proves, reports and audit trails. The result is a single integrated system that gives operators the control they need while providing measurement engineers with the information and traceability required to manage measurement performance.

    Acquire™ Features

  • P&ID

    The P&ID displays real-time updates for the metering system, including meter runs, samplers, and provers. Operators can click equipment icons to show detailed process information in the sidebar, open or close valves, start meter proves, control equipment, and view or edit flow computer values.

  • Configuration

    Acquire leverages Profile’s extensive native support for leading flow computers, providing seamless integration with a wide range of metering systems. Intuitive configuration tools allow customisation of every aspect of the HMI using a comprehensive library of metering graphics.

  • Server Redundancy

    Acquire is designed for high availability, with redundant HMI servers that communicate independently with flow computers and PLCs and redundant network connections to add another layer of resilience. If a server goes down, operators can simply switch to the other server and continue operations without interruption or loss of measurement data.

  • Duty/Standby

    Acquire continuously monitors the Duty/Standby status of the flow computers and automatically follows the Duty device. If the Duty flow computer becomes unavailable, or a Duty/Standby changeover is initiated, Acquire automatically switches communications to the new Duty device without operator intervention.

  • Alarms

    Acquire annunciates alarms from flow computers and PLCs in real time with an audible alert, along with the date and time it was raised. Operators can acknowledge or silence alarms, with all alarm activity recorded in the optional logbook.

  • Prove Control

    Acquire allows authorised operators to initiate and monitor meter proves directly from the HMI. Prove progress is displayed in real time, and the prove results and report are automatically captured once the prove completes.

  • Set Points

    Acquire can securely manage the flow computer configuration, allowing authorised operators to view and update set points and other configurable values without separate flow computer software, with all changes recorded in the optional logbook.

  • Scalable

    Acquire supports one or more flow computers across multiple measurement stations, scaling from small standalone metering systems to large multi-station deployments. It can also be extended into an enterprise environment by securely linking it to a centralised Profile™ server.
