Export data from remote RTUs directly to FLOWCAL CFX files
NORTHCHURCH, England, April 5th 2013. Ambrit Ltd. announced today that Profile now supports the Flow-Cal Common File Exchange (CFX) export format, enabling data to be exported directly from flow computers and other RTUs in the field straight into FLOWCAL application for accounting and further analysis.
Profile can export a CFX file hourly, daily or every time that a batch ends for a wide variety of different RTUs, using the latest CFX v7.05 format.
Profile’s unique interface makes it simple to select which fields need to be exported to the CFX file so that it mirrors the RTU’s archives. Once the CFX file has been setup, it can then be shared across multiple RTUs that use the same Profile configuration.
Flow-Cal’s software is used throughout the natural gas and petroleum liquid industries to validate, recalculate, store, report and distribute measurement data from field devices, streamlining the accounting process to increase efficiency and revenue.
