Adding a Scheduled or Request Report

To add a new scheduled or request report:

  • Click the 'Add Report' button.

Specify the fields as follows:

Field Description
Report Name This is the name used to identify the report.
Location This is the location in the Inventory™ sidebar that the report should be attached to.
Report Type This menu will reflect the reports that are available in the RTU.
Collect Report This is the interval at which the report should be collected. Select 'Request Only' to make the report a request report.
At This is the base time when the report should be collected.
Report This is the report to be downloaded from the RTU. This only applies to request reports.
Wait for Enter the number of seconds to wait for the RTU to generate the report. This will vary between RTUs. Typically 5 seconds should be sufficient. This only applies to request reports.
Retrieve n lines of the report This field is used for reports such as the built in audit trail to determine how many lines of the report are needed from the RTU.

To save the report:

  • Click the 'Save' button.

To discard changes to the report:

  • Click the 'Cancel' button.
