Profile™'s setting can be optimised to suit the installations requirements.

Specify the fields as follows:

| This is the default time that Profile™ should connect to every RTU on the system.
Typically this should be set to 2 seconds. If slow connections are being used or if there are a lot of RTUs
then this number should be increased to give the connections chance to be serviced. |

RTU on the system. Typically this should be set to 1 or 5 minutes. If slow connections are being used or if
there are a lot of RTUs then this number should be increased to give the connections chance to be serviced. |
Profile™ can send out the reports in several different formats: Text, HTML
or PDF. Text documents are plain unformatted documents and will go straight into Excel (especially custom reports),
HTML documents will have some formatting wrapped around them and PDF documents will not be modifiable by the
user. To use PDF documents, Adobe Acrobat must be installed on the server. The default option is 'Text'.
Each report can use this default format or can have its own email format. |
| When email is sent it must have a valid to and from address, otherwise the recipient's
mail server may reject the message. For Profile™ to send email to other users it must have a valid address
which follows the format of example@example.com (.com or any valid domain suffix). |
This is the default distribution list for all emailed reports.
Each report can use this default list or can have its own individual distribution list.
Clicking the "Default E-mail Recipients" drop down menu reveals all users
added into the user database. To select a single default e-mail recipient, select the appropriate user name
from the menu. To create a list of multiple recipients, click "Multiple" at the bottom of the list.
A list of all users appears. Hold Control (Ctrl on PC keyboards) and click the user names to be added to the
default email recipients list. Having selected all desired user names, click "Save", or "Cancel" to
close the user selection dialog. |
Profile™ can automatically print reports to one or more printers when the report
is downloaded. Select an individual printer from the list. To print to more than one printer select "Multiple".
A list of all available printers appears. Hold control (ctrl on PC keyboards) and click the desires printers.
For printers to appear in the list they must have been set up in Windows. Having selected all desired printer
names, click "Save", or "Cancel" to close the printer selection dialog.
Each report can use this default printer list or can print to its own list of printers.

| The archive folder is the folder that reports will be saved into once they have been
downloaded. Click the 'Browse' button to locate a folder for reports to be sent to. |
| Enter a value to set the amount of days profile keeps audit events. Non integer values
entered will be rounded up or down i.e. 50.6 will be recognised as 51 days and 50.2 will be recognised as 50
days. |
