Modems

Profile™ can manage banks of modems that can be used to connect to remote RTUs. When it needs to communicate with an RTU that is connected by modem, Profile™ will automatically pick an available modem from the list.

To view the available modems:

  • Select 'Modems' from 'Config' menu.

To add a new modem:

  • Click the 'Add Modem' button.

The 'Add Modem' dialog appears.

To edit a modem settings:

  • Double click on the modem in the list.
  • Highlight the required modem in the list.
  • Click the 'Edit Modem' button.

To delete a modem:

  • Highlight the required modem in the list.
  • Click the 'Delete Modem' button.
