Map Mode

Maps can be added to provide a graphical alternative to the Inventory menu for navigating locations and sites.

To add a new location and map:

• Highlight the location in the Inventory menu where you wish to add a new location and graphical map. N.B. The root level of the Inventory menu is called 'Worldwide' and cannot be deleted.
• Click 'Add'

Specify the fields as follows:

Field	Description
Location	This is the path to the new location.
Area Type	Select 'Geographical Region'.
Region Name	Enter a name for the new geographical region.
Picture	Select an image file for the new geographical region.
Image Map	Select a .map file for the new region (to obtain an Image Map please contact Ambrit for more information).

• Click 'Save' to add the new location

To add a new site and map:

• Highlight the location in the Inventory menu where you wish to add a new site and graphical map.
• Click 'Add'

Field	Description
Location	This is the path to the new site.
Area Type	Select 'Site'.
Site Name	Enter a name for the new site.
Site Type	Select whether the site is a single stream, single station or has multiple stations.
Acquire Server	Specify an IP or web address of the Acquire server on the new site.
Picture	Select an image file for the new site.
Image Map	Select a .map file for the new site (to obtain an Image Map please contact Ambrit for more information).

• Click 'Save' to add the new site

To edit a location or site:

• Highlight a location or site in the Inventory Menu
• Click 'Edit'
• Amend the information as required and click 'Save'

To delete a location or site:

• Highlight a location or site in the Inventory Menu
• Click 'Delete'
