Global Summary

The configurations and fields displayed on the Global Summary report can be customised as follows:

Adding a new row to the Global Summary list adds a configuration to the report. Profile automatically updates the report with data from every RTU that uses that configuration.

Adding a new column to the Global Summary list adds a field to the data that will be displayed on the report.

To add a new column:

  • Click the 'Add Column' button. A new column appears with default title 'New Column'. To rename the column click on the title 'New Column', enter a new title and click 'OK'.

To add a new row:

  • Click the 'Add Row' button. The 'Add Row' dialog appears.

To delete a row

  • Highlight the required row in the Global Summary list.
  • Click the 'Delete Row' button.

Modbus Server

Specify the fields as follows:

Field Description
Collect Report

Select the frequency - Daily, Weekly or Monthly - that the report will be generated. If the 'Perform Actions Daily' checkbox is selected (Weekly and Monthly only) then the appended report will be available for viewing at the end of each day within the reporting period.

E-Mail Format If you have chosen to send email (see Email section below) select a format for the email.
Base Time Specify the start time for the reporting period. If Weekly is selected (see Collect Report section above), specify a start date for the reporting period.
Archive If the 'Archive' checkbox is selected then the report will be saved as a text file in the Report Archive Folder at the end of the report's period. The Report Archive Folder can be specificied on the Preferences screen.
Print If the 'Print' checkbox is selected then the report will be printed at the end of the report's period. The report will be printed to the Profile server's currently selected printer. The default printer(s) can be specificied on the Preferences screen.
Email

If the 'Email' checkbox is selected then the report will be emailed to a specified email address at the end of the report's period. The report format can be specified as either text, PDF or HTML. The email recipients(s) can be specificied on the Preferences screen.

Note: Ensure that the sender's email address has been set up as a valid address otherwise the report will be rejected by the recipient's mail server.
