Starting a New Audit
To create a new audit:
- Select the station in the Inventory Menu for which you want to produce the audit.
- Choose Audit Reports from the Inspect menu.
A list of the existing audit reports will be displayed for the station selected in the Inventory Menu:

If you have access to create new audits on the station then an 'Add' button will be displayed at the right-hand end of the Database Bar.
The New Audit screen will be displayed to allow you to set up the parameters for the new audit:

Specify the fields as follows:

Automatically allocated to the next available audit number. |
| Planned Start Date |
Specify the planned start date for the audit. |
| Planned End Date |
Specify the planned end date for the audit. |
| Station |
Automatically set to the station name. |
| Audit Company |
Choose the appropriate audit company from the pop-up menu. |
| Based On |
Allows you to choose whether to start a new blank audit, or base the audit on a previous audit: New Audit creates a new blank audit, Previous Audit starts with a copy of the previous audit, Template allows you to select a template from the Template pop-up menu, and Based on Different Audit allows you to start from a specified previous audit number. |
When you have specified the parameters as required:
- Click the 'Create' button to create the new audit.
You will be asked to confirm that you want to proceed.
- Click the 'OK' button to proceed or the 'Cancel' button to cancel the creation of the new audit.
The New Audit screen is then displayed to allow you to add sections to the audit defining the audit inspection criteria. For more information see Setting up Audit Inspection Criteria.
