P&ID
The P&ID is a graphical representation of the process. It shows a real time summary view of what is currently happening on the process. The exact layout will depend on your system configuration.
The meter runs are represented by blue piping - which turns red when a meter run is in use. Icons attached to the pipes represent the instruments or devices on each meter run. This example shows the tag number of the device immediately below the device and the value of the first field shown in the sidebar for that device is shown above it.
The sidebar on the right displays associated fields for the currently selected device. If no device is selected the sidebar will default to show the station information (if available).
Viewing Process Information
Each part of the process has related data associated with it. This is displayed in the sidebar.
- Click on the process icon.
Viewing Alarms
The alarm dock at the bottom of the screen shows the current alarms. New alarms will be displayed here as soon as they occur.
Accessing Other Screens
Use the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to access other screens on the server.
