Control Valves

On the P&ID, the control valve icons will display the valve position, colour representing its status and tag name.

Clicking and highlighting a control valve will display its parameters within the sidebar on the right. The sidebar displays in-use values and a chart plotting the last 10 minutes of selected values.

Clicking 'Details' reveals the details screen of the highlighted valve.

The PLC control valve screen displays three bar charts on the left side of the screen and the PLC parameters on the right side. The upper 2 bar charts display the in-use measured values and set point of the control elements i.e. inlet pressure, outlet pressure and flow rate. The title above the 2 vertical bar charts display the name of the current in-use fields. The values (including units) and percentage is displayed on the bottom of the bar charts.

Valve Position

The valve position is displayed on the bottom left, it displays valve position visually as a green gauge and numerically as illustrated . In automatic mode, the valve position requires no user input as the in-use measured value will attempt to reach the set point automatically.

In manual mode, valve position can be adjusted manually either by using the left and right arrow buttons to increase(right)/decrease(left) valve position in increments of 0.1%.
