Adding A Station

Adding a new station requires some basic information regarding the configuration of the station to be entered. A station is a collection of streams, e.g. a gas orifice metering station.

Acquire™ displays the 'System Name' and 'System Location' based on the information provided when the order is placed. This information is embedded in Acquire's software key. Specify the fields as follows:

Station Type Select the type of station. This will allow you to select between a "Metering Station" and "Overview".

"Overview" inserts a graphical menu to to allow navigation between stations. Select "Metering Station" for the traditional P&ID view.

Flowcomputer Type Select the type of flowcomputer that will be used for the station. Only one type of flowcomputer can be used, although a PLC can be added later.

Note: If you leave the 'Meter Type' as "Custom", Acquire™ will create a blank P&ID and screens. Selecting a different station type will configure the screens accordingly.
