OPC Access

Once the OPC Server has been enabled any of the Acquire fields can be accessed using OPC.

The path to the fields is in the format below, where flowcomputer name is the Acquire name of the flowcomputer including spaces and the field name is the Acquire field name of the field required including spaces.:

• flowcomputer name.field name
• e.g. OMNI 6000.STR01 Gross Flowrate

OPC allows fields to be be both read and written to. Only fields that have a security level of 1 or more can be written to.

Note: Security to the OPC server is managed by the Windows DCOM server.
