OPC Server Setup

Using Acquire as an OPC Server

The OPC server is an optional feature of Acquire™ made available through the key.

Acquire™ supports:

• OPC Data Access Component v2
• OPC Alarms and Events Component v1

To enable OPC connections to be made to Acquire™ select 'OPC' from the 'Config' menu.

Field	Description
OPC Server enabled	This checkbox enables or disables the OPC server. To activate the server ensure that this checkbox is ticked.
OPC Server	This is the name used to identify the OPC Server.
Description	This is the description used to identify the OPC Server
Refresh Rate	This is how often Acquire™ will refresh the data to the OPC client. This is entered in seconds.
