Adding FieldsFields can only be added to a PLC's modbus map. To add a new field to the modbus map:
Deleting FieldsFields can only be deleted from a PLC's modbus map. To delete a field:
Double clicking on a modbus register will allow the user to edit the field (although this is not possible with an S600 as this features a downloaded modbus map). Flowcomputer Modbus MapsFlowcomputers have predefined modbus maps so these maps cannot be altered. Omni 3000/6000: The modbus map is fixed based on the config selected although some parameters such as security levels and units can be editted. S600: With an S600 the config is downloaded directly from the flowcomputer so no changes can be made to the fields as they would be lost on the next download. Import/ExportSelecting the 'Import Modbus Map' item from the 'File' menu will do different things depending on the flowcomputer type. With an Omni 3000/6000, it will reset the configuration file. It will re-download the config from the S600. For a PLC it will ask you to select the file to import. The 'Export Modbus Map' menu item is only available for a PLC. It will create an import file based on the current modbus map. |
