Adding Screens

To add new screens select 'Screen Setup' from the File Menu.

Select the menu that the screen is to be added to and then click the 'New Screen' button to insert a new screen. The screen is only added to the selected menu. Clicking 'Add Screen' will display the following dialogue:

This page provides a choice of 5 standard screen layouts.

Enter the new screen name in the 'Screen Type' box, highlight the required screen type (indicated by a turquoise border) and click 'Save'.

Note: If the server has multiple languages installed, then Acquire™ will show the 'Quick Translate' button next to the field. Clicking on this button will allow the translation to be entered for the phrase.

The screen layouts available are:

2 Data Columns with Chart

This is the most common screen layout in Acquire as it is the only one that carries a chart. It displays up to 16 fields.

4 Data Columns

This is a similar layout as the previous screen although it has no chart and twice as many fields. It displays up to 32 fields.

Favourites

This screen shows up to 36 fields and 36 modes. This is ideal for Gas Composition layouts. Only the mode fields are editable on the web browser.

Calculations

This screen is specifically designed to show calculation inputs and outputs. It will show up to 12 inputs (and 12 input modes) and 12 outputs (and 12 output modes). Only the modes are editable. The column titles are editable by clicking on them.

Tank Screen

This screen is displays data relating to tanks that have been setup in the Acquire database.
