Batch

Each station can have its own batch settings.

Specify the fields as follows:

Field Description
Batching Type This field shows the selected batching type that was selected when the station was created. It cannot be changed once set.
Batch List This section allows the columns on the batch schedule list to be customised. Select the checkboxes to determine which extra columns will be displayed.
Enable Sampler This checkbox turns on sampler support for the station. When the sampler is enabled, Acquire will issue grab commands at regular intervals during a batch based on the amount batched.
Sample Can Size This is the size of the sampler can. The units do not matter as long as they are the same as the grab size units.
Grab Size This is the size of an individual grab. The units do not matter as long as they are the same as the sample can size units.

Number of Grabs = Sample Can Size / Grab Size
Grab Command Field This is the field that Acquire will write to when issuing a grab command. It can be any field in the Modbus map from a flowcomputer, PLC or sampler.
Grab Command Write Value This is the value that should be written to the Grab Command Field when to initiate a grab.
Batch Density Enter the units and calculation method that should be used when entering the batch density when recalculating the batch.
Batch BS&W Enter the units and calculation method that should be used when entering the batch BS&W when recalculating the batch.
Batch Gravity Enter the units and calculation method that should be used when entering the batch gravity when recalculating the batch.
Recalculate Batch Select the method that should be used to recalculate the batch. At the moment the only batch recalculation method is by using Acquire.
