Viewing and Accepting Alarms

Reported alarms can be viewed in the alarms screen, to view the Alarms Screen either:

Click on 'Alarms' in the bottom navigation panel.

Select 'Alarms…' from the 'Acquire' menu.

The alarms page provides a list of the current alarms that have occurred on any of the connected flowcomputers or that have been raised by Acquire™. All alarms are time and date stamped at the point they are registered on the Acquire™ server.

When an alarm is raised on the system it will flash to indicate that it has not been accepted.

To accept an individual alarm:

Click the 'Accept' button next to the alarm.

Click the coloured alarm tab in the alarms dock.

To accept all alarms:

Click the 'Accept All' button at the bottom of the list.

The search function searches the list of alarms based upon a user defined text string and displays all alarms containing that string. E.g. searching for any alarm containing the string "temperature".

To order the alarms:

The displayed alarms can be filtered by date, time, alarm description, alarm type, system and location by clicking the title of their respective columns.

To edit an alarm:

Double click on any of the alarms in the alarms list.

Individual alarms may be suppressed at the Acquire™ server, so that even though they are raised at the flowcomputer and transmitted to the server, they are not enunciated to the operator via the Acquire™ screen, nor are they recorded as an alarm in the audit log. Alarms can be suppressed in the 'Edit Alarms' screen.
