Acquire™ 2.7 Rail Car Loading

Upgrade Provides Rail Car Loading from within the Acquire™ HMI Supervisory Server

Acquire™ 2.7 Rail Car Loading

NORTHCHURCH, England, July 21st 2010. Ambrit Ltd announced Acquire v2.7 with support for rail car loading.

Acquire can now be used to handle rail car loading with an Omni 6000 and Mercury 2e intrinsically safe operator terminal.

The rail car batch schedule can be pre-entered directly into the Acquire HMI. Once configured, the batch details can be called up on a Mercury 2e terminal situated on the loading gantry where the batch can be started and stopped remotely.

Operations can be monitored from the control room through Acquire’s P&ID or dedicated batch screens.

Once the rail car’s loading is completed, Acquire will generate a set of ticketing reports and automatically print them. It can also email them directly to the end user.

As with all Acquire features, the rail loading feature is very easy to setup, with no software needing to be written. Acquire will automatically generate the interface to the Omni 6000 and the Mercury 2e terminal. It will also automatically generate the P&ID, batching screens and the ticket reporting. The default interface can easily be further customized to meet the requirements of end users.

Acquire 2.7 makes creating a complex rail loading HMI very easy. Please click here to arrange a demonstration of Acquire 2.7.
