Acquire v2.5 Prover Control Charts

Meter Factor or K Factor Linearization Curves from within the Acquire™ HMI

NORTHCHURCH, England, July 12 2007. Ambrit Ltd today announced that Acquire now features prover control charts generated directly from within the HMI.

Ensuring that each meter is still within its limits after a prove can require specialized third party software or custom built spreadsheets all of which can be cumbersome and time consuming to manage. Not any more…. The latest version of Acquire™ now automatically generates a range of prover control charts directly from within the HMI. On completion of the prove sequence, Acquire™ produces the K factor or meter factors results in either a tabular format or as detailed graphical control charts.

In addition to producing real time prover control charts, Acquire™ also maintains an auditable history of the meter's performance over time. This meter proving data can be sent directly to a Record™ logbook ensuring meter activity is recorded in the metering station logbook.

This new feature in Acquire™ works straight out of the box delivering immediate results on the entire range of supported flow computers with a consistent user interface.

The prover control chart feature is available as an optional extra in Acquire™. Customers with an extended support plan wishing to take advantage of this feature can upgrade to Acquire™ v2.5 free of charge and simply buying the control chart feature as an extra.
