Acquire™ v2.3 Speaks Chinese

Acquire™ now features a localized Chinese HMI

NORTHCHURCH, England, March 25 2006. Ambrit Ltd today announces native support for the Chinese language in the latest version of Acquire™ v2.3.

With the emergence of China as a major potential marketplace for HMI metering applications, Ambrit has now extended the multi language capabilities of Acquire™ to include support for non-roman, double byte languages such as Chinese.

Acquire™ now provides a graphically rich Chinese interface that allows Mandarin-speaking operators to see the supervisory computer HMI in their own language. Ambrit has been working closely with one of the leading Chinese oil and gas companies to provide accurate and meaningful industry compliant translations. Acquire™ v2.3 is also fully compatible with Chinese localized Windows operating systems.

Now Acquire™ features built in support for double byte languages other non roman languages such as Arabic and Japanese etc will be added in the near future.

Chinese is available as an optional Language Pack in Acquire™. Customers with an extended support plan wishing to take advantage of this feature can upgrade to Acquire™ v2.3 free of charge and simply purchasing the language pack as an extra.
