Ambrit sign representative agreement with Offshore CPI

NORTHCHURCH, England, May 21 2002. Today, Ambrit signed an agreement appointing Offshore-CPI Supply Sdn.Bdh. as their representative in the ASEAN region.

Offshore-CPI Supply was incorporated in 1985 since then it has grown substantially. It now has six strategically placed facilities employing over 55 people throughout the Malaysian Peninsular and East Malaysia.

Offshore-CPI Supply is a progressive company whose policy is to represent only companies with the best technologies, products and services. Ambrit is honoured to have their products as part of Offshore-CPI Supply's portfolio.

Ambrit Ltd. is a British company specialising in Internet solutions. The company was established in 1988 in Hertfordshire, England to develop graphics and data base technology. Since the advent of the Internet, Ambrit has focused on pushing forward the frontiers of Internet and Intranet technologies.

Of particular interest to Offshore-CPI Supply is Acquire™, Ambrit's latest generation software. Acquire is based on current Internet standards, providing a web based data acquisition and control software product for a wide variety of industrial uses. Initial implementations of Acquire™ address flow measurement and control in the Oil and Gas industry.

Following the signing of the agreement at their facility in Subang Jaya, Jeen Lim, CEO of Offshore-CPI commented "this is a great opportunity for both companies, products like Acquire™ are ideally suited for projects in this region." Barry Webb, Chairman of Ambrit, agreed adding, "Acquire™ and future extensions of the technology should provide ideal solutions for the measurement and control requirements of the Oil and Gas industry in ASEAN, allowing local integration of complex systems without the associated technology risks." Roy Koh, Regional Sales Manager for Offshore CPI, will be responsible for Ambrit's technology within the company.
