Acquire™ HMI at ICA 2002 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Ambrit exhibit Acquire in South East Asia
NORTHCHURCH, England, May 27 2002. Ambrit's South East Asia representative, Offshore-CPI Supply Sdn.Bdh. took part in the recent ICA 2002 Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which was held May 21st through May 24th 2002 at the MINES convention centre.
This well attended show gave Offshore-CPI the opportunity to introduce Acquire™, Ambrit's web based data acquisition and control technology, to the Oil and Gas industries in South East Asia. Ms. Adelyn Ong, Marketing Executive of Offshore-CPI was pleased with the response from the exhibition and looks forward to introducing this high performance data acquisition system into the region.
Using Internet inspired graphics and communication techniques Acquire™ takes real-time data acquisition and control to a new level of performance, reliability and secure accessibility.
This latest generation software is based on current Internet standards providing a SCADA software product for a wide variety of industrial uses. Initial implementations of Acquire™ address flow measurement and control in the Oil and Gas industry where there is a diverse range of smart instrumentation and even smarter RTUs deployed for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon products. As these technologies have evolved the requirement to access data, control events and distribute information worldwide has become a major challenge.
Acquire™ is the leading edge solution, providing a secure real time link between process control instrumentation and the Internet, allowing Operations and Management to interact with systems, locally on private Intranet networks, or remotely via the Internet from any worldwide location. To achieve this all that is required is a standard web browser.
